Hello,
I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 using parallels on my macbook pro. I am from Denmark, so
that means Ubuntu needs to be configured to use a Danish MacBook Pro keyboard. Does anyone know how that can be accomplished??
Be aware, that I am not much of an experienced Ubuntu user, sorry.
Secondly, I have tried to go to System->Preferences->Keyboard and experimenting with the keyboard settings but everytime I end up getting the message:
Error activating XKB Configuration.
It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier library
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp,xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation
X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation:
10400090
if you report this error as a bug, please include:
- the result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- the result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
Thanks in advance.
