I've installed the WebPortal.msi on to our eval server (v6x). I can access the logon page and login successfully.
The problem is that I have a published word doc, that when I click on that I get
Server Error in '/2XWebPortal' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> and a bunch more stuff
If I click on any other application, I get faced with a prompt asking to open or save the *.2Xa file, every time I click on the link. I've already added .2Xa as a mime type.
I do have the 2X ApplicationServer Client installed on the machine that I'm testing with....Do I need to have that client installed on any other machine that would access the farm via the Web Portal? If so, I'll just force everyone to use the Client instead of the web portal.
