Published Web Applications: 2xa files Error 404 not found

I just published 3 web applications and copied the generated files to a 2x folders on iis6.0 webserver.

I can open the mysite.com/2x folder and I see the 2x generated html file.
I also see the png images related to the apps but if I click on the 2xa files' links I get a 404 Error... why??

I triple checked and the 2xa files are in the same directory and the links are correct.
The MSI package link works fine...

Maybe do I have to configure something related on .2xa files on IIS?

Yes, you need to register the .2xa MIME-Type in IIS.

• To do this, in the IIS Manager snap-in, expand your web-site and view its properties
  Select the HTTP Headers tab
  Click "MIME Types..."
  Click "New..."
  For the extension, put .2xa
  For the MIME Type put application/octet-stream
