Pulling an excel file across a windows network

IN Parallels 2.5, when I pull a excel file over onto my mac it changed into a Mac excel file. When I do the same with 3.0 it doesn't know what type of file it is. I have to tell it every time to open with excel. Anyone know how to make this a perment change so that it always opens with MAC Excel? Thanks

Hi,

To make EXEL files to be opened in Mac please do the following:

1. Locate any EXCEL file in Mac.
2. Right-click on this file to open the menu.
3. Select Get Info menu item. Get Ingo dialog appears.
4. Open Open With... menu and select Mac EXCEL application. (If no Mac EXCEL application is listed click Other... and select the Mac EXCEL application in the Select dialog)
5. Click Change All... button.

That's all.
