I just bought parallels v3 not knowing v4 has been realeased.. i have not downloaded parallels v3 or my windows yet.
My question is if it is possible to download my v3 and upgrade to v4 at the same time? and if so how do i go about doing this? thanks for the help
 
Also i was wondering about bootcamp. do i need to set up somthing through bootcamp before i load paralles?

If you have already purchased Parallels Desktop Version 3, then you will be having the activation key also with you.

If you need to upgrade to version 4, then you can just buy version 4 of Parallels Desktop from here:

http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/

After buying version 4, install it in the Mac, while installing it will ask you for version 4 activation key codes and then after you put in the upgrade key, you will be prompted to put activation key codes of version 3.

This upgrade process which I have mentioned above does not need Parallels version 3 to be installed in the Mac.
