Hey
Im very very new with mac and computers in general, so I hope this question isnt too lame for you all.
I was just wondering wether the ram-split partition between macos and windowsxp is definitive after running parallels or if it only splits it up in the process of running it. I have designated my macbook 1gb ram in a 50/50 mode between systems, so the question I guess is, after quitting parallels, does the program return the ram back to mac osx or not?
Im kinda confused.
Second, Is it possible to designate more ram to the xp-system than recommended, say 800mb out of a giga, without serious damage?? Anyone with experience there?? The program recommends a max 588mb, but thats like living in the past...
I hope you can help.
Thanks for your time
