RC2 activation locked...need help getting file

I just purchased a Vista Home Premium to replace the RC2 I've been running periodically. I received a message that I had one day to activate or be locked out which occured. I've purchased a retail version and plan to do a clean install however, one file was left over in the RC2 install. Its on the desktop and I can not access it. What options do I have? Is there a backdoor way through the Parallels folder in OSX to copy this file over?

Hello,

It is possible to extract the required file by means of Parallels Explorer. The other way is to create a new VM, install Windows and connect the required .hdd file as a second drive,
