re-installing Parallels

Hi

I had a problem with my mac and had to install the OS. When I tried to open parallels it said it couldn't find some of the drivers and that I should re-install it. I have some programs on the parallels part that I need and cannot get again. If I re-install parallels will it delete those programs? Is there a way around this? Thank you.

Reinstall Parallels Desktop as described in

You can perform backup as described in Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf on page 243 (copy VM folder)

guess antivirus on Mac OS is causing this problem
