Real Novice Needs Help

I have an iMac 5, OS X, with Parallels 2.5. Every time I launch it, the Parallels Tools Installation Wizard launches, too. Is it supposed to do this, or am I doing something wrong? I'm otherwise having a pretty good experience during the infrequent times I need Parallels, but this just puzzles me.
 
Can you tell me what version off parallels your running. Look in menubar above under parallels desktop.....about parallels desktop.

Normally tools are installed one's.
 
I upgraded to 3224, but I'm still getting the wizard each time I launch. The message is: The Parallels Tools Setup Wizard will reinstall the currently installed 2.5.3224 version
