Receiving Error in Parallels

Hello everyone,

I have installed parallels onto Ubuntu 8.10, kernal version 2.6.27-9 and it starts correctly. But what does not start correctly is attempt to start the new VM that i created. I receive the following error.

Unable to communicate with hypervisor!


Can someone PLEASE tell me what this means, and how i can fix it.

Same here using Fedora 9 and kernel 2.6.27.7-53.fc9.i686.

Loaded Windows 7. Worked for a while. Then I shut it down. Then I did VM->Power Up and:

"Unable to communicate with hypervisor!"

What is the deal???

i hate peeps that yell out SOLVED but dont tell anyone what the did....
