Record area for given duration

    It would be nice to be able to set the duration of a screen area recording. Say I want to record a video for half an hour, I should be able to set the duration time to 30 mins. Thanks.

    I agree. I was going to recommend the same. Also consider putting a limit on how much disk space to use when doing the recording.
    I wanted to start recording a meeting to watch later then leave to do errands. I knew the meeting was going to last and hour, but I would not return for 2 hours and only wanted to record the screen or window for an hour.
