Somehow I managed to boot my VM in "Safe Mode" - not windows safe mode, but parallels safe mode - all day yesterday. When I finished working at midnight last night, I shut down and it asked me if I want to save or discard changes to the Virtual Disk; having no idea I was in safe mode, i discarded changes - and lost all my work from yesterday.. if anyone knows if there those files are saved anywhere it would be greatly appreciated.
