Recovering a corrupted .hdd file?

Corrupted DiskDescriptor.xml file - anyone have one I could copy?

Can someone please help me fix my corrupted DiskDescriptor.xml file? Everything before <Blocksize>63</Blocksize> has been deleted.

When I start up my VM I get "Parallels Desktop is unable to access the virtual hard disk image file. The file is corrupted."

Is there any way to recover some of the data on my VM image file? There's some stuff I really need and I would like to recover them.

How does the image file become corrupt, anyways?
