Started running out of drive space on my Mac m2 Air 256 GB drive so I moved the pvm file to an external drive. Following the move I deleted the pvm file on the Mac HD, emptied the wastebasket and rebooted the Mac. When I ran the terminal command diskutil list I did not see the expected 56 GB increase in available drive space in the Mac HD. Same result when running the macOS diskutil app. So question is what do I have to do to recover the 56 GB drive space on the HD from the now deleted pvm file? Such a huge file when I am only using Parallels to run a single Windows app that will never be ported to macOS. thank you for the interest into my problem - Mike
