i repeatedly get the following email:
Subject: 2XController Service Resource Notification
Body: Agent on <TERMSERVHOST> has disconnected
the termservhost is running terminal services and the agent. the appserver host is not running termservices (other than the built-in admin rdp session piece). clients are thin clients, all connecting via thinclientserver pxe booting (thinclientserver is running on a 3rd machine). all 2x software is, to my knowledge, up-to-date.
the appserver log basically just shows the disconnection and subsequent reconnection, so at this point i can't tell what is going wrong. i do know that the thin clients get booted out of their apps from time to time, though i haven't yet correlated the times with the disconnections. the highest cpu utilization i've seen on the appserver box is around 30%; the termserver spikes to 80% rarely, most spikes are under 50%.
could cpu contention on the terminal server have anything to do with the disconnections (ie timeouts)? what else should i be looking for?
