Resize File System checkbox always greyed out

Hi, My Windows VM will not get latest updates because it says it is out of space. The virtual disk says it is 172GB and has only 1.2GB available, but the size I have allocated it is 195GB. From the support forums I could find out that I need to check the Resize File System checkbox, but this is always greyed out. Please help

Other than this issue I am generally trouble-free.
