Resource Fork files are not created hidden through Virtual Disk Mount

I have my Windows VM Virtual disk set to mount on my Desktop. When I am working with Word files for example, the ._DSSTORE or ._filename hidden files aren't created with the PC visible hidden attribute set. That is incredibly annoying as I end up seeing double on the PC side for all my files. When I connect to the same folder through the network and mount it as an SMB share on the Mac side, all the resource fork files are created with the hidden attribute properly.

How do I fix this????
