I have a use case for which I need to build an app targeting an Intel-based MacOS arch. I have an Apple laptop with an M3 Max chip. Is it possible to run MacOS 14.x VM (Intel-based) on my laptop? I have a pro license.

Running Intel macOS on Apple Silicon Macs is not currently supported.

Interesting setup! Since you're on an M3 (ARM), running an Intel-based macOS VM (14.x) could be tricky--Rosetta won't help with VMs. You might need something like UTM with x86 emulation, but performance will be limited. Native ARM macOS VMs would run much smoother
