Hello everyone,
I'm using Parallels 3 built 5160 under MacOS 10.4.10,
I installed Windows Vista Enterprise Edition in BootCamp, and then activated it with MAK license key, then everything is fine under BootCamp.
But there's a problem, when I setting up Parallels to boot with BootCamp Vista Partition,
there's a error message appears after logging in windows.
The error code is: c004e002 , "Windows detected that Windows Genuine Validation data are not the same as it saved in the system." (I'm sorry I don't know how to translate that error message from Chinese to English.)
I can click "close" button, but after clicking it, windows would log out.
Another choice is to view the help, and I can launch IE to view webpages, even call the file manager, but I can't open system properties or control panel in the mean time.
By the way, if I boot with safe mode, I can login without trouble, but I can't check windows activation status or re-activate in that mode.
I searched the forum for solutions, some articles are mentioned that you've to do the activation in both systems.(BootCamp & Parallels)
But Vista Enterprise don't prompt me to re-activate when I boot with Parallels.
I called Microsoft tech-support this morning, and they told me that error code usually caused by an incompatible with the BIOS and Vista system.
They suggested me to update my BIOS firmware, but isn't Parallels EMULATES all hardware devices? I've no idea how to do so.
(If it possible to make Parallels emulates BIOS that exactly the same with MAC BIOS?)
Could anyone give me some suggestions?
Many thanks!!
