Running BBC's iPlayer occasionally crashes Parallels!

Have just started using the new iPlayer from the BBC (allows you to catch up on last 7 days worth of TV) and I'm experiencing severe problems in that during it's use (randomly) it will literally cause Parallels to die - taking 140%+ of the CPU and I have to switch the MacPro off to recover - not ideal!

Any one else seeing this?

iPlayer only works on XP - hence why I'm using Parallels for this purpose on my MacPro.
