Running both 1970 and 3036

Question for Andrew or another support member.

Can one install both 1970 and 3036 together but in different directories for testing as to not mess up the working configuration? I don't want to run them at the same time just keep production and testing seperated.

No. Parallels includes kernel extensions and there can only be one version of a kernel extension installed at a time.
 
I thought that might be the case but I also thought that the extensions may only be installed when parallels is running. I think that when Parallels is shutdown no extensions are installed.

I really think that Andrew or one of the other Parallels team members need to answer this question. Only they know for sure.
