I'm using Windows 10 in Parallels Desktop 13, and need to get the PC clock set precisely to support some software I'm using. Although the time from my host Macbook's clock function is sometimes accurate enough, it appears as though it is not always so. It was suggested that Windows users install Meinberg NTP software on their PCs to improve the clock's accuracy. Are there any potential issues or concerns with using Windows-based software like this in Windows 10 under Parallels on a MacBook? Will this actually fine-tune the Mac's own clock as well as time reported within Windows?
Hi @FrankO1, this behavior may happen during traveling when you change the time zone on your Mac and the virtual machine is not synced or it can occur right after summer/winter time zone changes. Parallels Tools driver provides this feature to be sync with Mac's time. Please check out this article if you are getting any issues regarding this feature.
