Running Windows 7 on Snow Leopard

Hi,
I just got the Parallels 4.0 software and I was originally planning to run Windows XP on my mac(my os is Snow Leopard). But I found out that Windows 7 is being released on Oct 22nd. As this is my first time running Parallels on my mac, i was wondering first that does Parallels 4.0 support windows 7? if it does, can i upgrade my XP to windows 7 when its out? or should i just not install the XP and wait for 7 to come out and install that?
Thanks

I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise on Parallels 4.0 without any major problems (I have run into some stability issues). You cannot easily upgrade from XP to Windows 7 so I would either wait or install Vista (the latest version is surprisingly good).

it's 8 days, I'd wait.
OR, you can install XP, use it for what you want and then just delete the VM later (backup your files to transfer over later) and then install Windows 7 - I'm not sure if you can upgrade from XP, but it might be cheaper to do a fresh install.

OR you could leave both installed?

Kind Regards
