My screensaver has not been working since upgrading to Parallels 13 for Mac. When running the 'pmset -g' command in Terminal, I get the following statistics:

    Code:
    iMac:~ [username]$ pmset -g
    System-wide power settings:
    Currently in use:
     standby 1
     Sleep On Power Button 1
     womp 1
     halfdim 1
     hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage
     powernap 1
     autorestart 0
     networkoversleep 0
     disksleep 0
     sleep 0
     autopoweroffdelay 28800
     hibernatemode 0
     autopoweroff 0
     ttyskeepawake 1
     displaysleep 15 (display sleep prevented by prl_client_app, prl_client_app, prl_client_app, prl_client_app, prl_client_app, prl_client_app)
     standbydelay 10800

Looks like the 'prl_client_app' process is blocking it. I believe that's a Parallels process, correct? Any way to fix this?

I'm on macOS Sierra v10.12.6, and running Windows 10 Pro.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Parallels?

Still an issue for me as well. Just upgraded to High Sierra - same problem lingers.

Fixed. I completely un-installed Parallels 13.01 (using CleanMyMac) and re-installed and Display Sleep works as expected...

Seems that I've spoken too soon. Seems that the display sleep issue has returned. Ugh!

So I talked to support who were very helpful and resolved the issue. Two changes made but not sure which one fixed them. Ensured that the active power plan in Windows 10 would Turn off the display as well as changed the Application options in the Parallels configuration to *not* allow apps to auto-switch to full screen.

Bump. Anyone find a solution? I have this issue (prl_client_app preventing displaysleep) running Windows 11 Arm on Parallels 19.2.1 on M1 MacBook Pro. Strangely it seems to be triggered only when I connect a USB Keyboard to the VM, but this is my standard setup to have full Windows keyboard shortcut support. Any help appreciated.
