Hi,
We run Managed Preferences fro users, groups and computers through our xserve onto our iMacs -
One setting is not to allow USB devices plugged into the iMacs to work (read/write disabled);
This works fine on the iMacs, but we just noticed that when you have Parallels (in our case running Windows XP) on the iMacs hosts, once a USB key is plugged, the Managed Preferences are bypassed, the the user can read/write onto the USB key through the Guest OS (Windows)
Please advise is this is a settings issue that needs udpating so that Parallels checks these settings, or if this will be mended in a future update/etc..
Thanks for any clarifications!
Cheers,
