Separate antivirus required for each virtual machine?

I posted this in general questions as well:
Running Parallels 9 on MacBook Pro. Have an existing Windows XP virtual machine running Kaspersky. Just installed new Windows 7 virtual machine. Do I need a separate anti-virus program? Is there some way I can run the existing Kaspersky that sits on my XP virtual machine to cover both the XP and Windows 7 machine?
 
You can use Kaspersky on multiple computers but it needs to support multiple users first. There are many forms of user supports provided in an antivirus tool like for 1 user, for 3 users etc. Number of user defines the number of machines on which it can be installed. There are many software like Norton, Immunet, Bitdefender, Malwarebytes etc which has both single and multiple user support feature. If your software provides multiple user access then you can easily use it on other systems or you will have to use different tool on each machine.
