Thanks, Zeman. The evil spirit of Bill Gates still haunts me. I did as you suggested but when I tried to install the 1970 Build of Parallels I got a window saying that there is nothing to install. I tried several times and downloaded the application several times, all with the same results. I am purchasing a new version of Windows XP. If that doesn't work, I will take it as a sign fro Bill Gates that he doesn't want me to run his damned Windows on my Mac.zeman said:I had exactly the same problem with the latest build.

Successfully installed SP2 and then upgraded Parallels.
This seems like a major bug as there must be quite a few people that bought XP long before SP2 was released.
