Sessions Getting Locked up

Is there a way for sessions not to get locked up, or some type of program that would help with that. I know sessions lockup can be due to the network or program locking/crashing. We are having to boot them off because the log of 2x function does work 100% of the time.

What is the problem with the log ???
 
Log Off Sessions is not working all the time.

Sessions will lock up (generally due to network issues) and then the user will be unable to get back in until we manually go and log off their session. They will show as Active, even if they are not connected.
 
the 2x log off session function would not work. Have seen this many times.

Log Off Sessions works for published applications and not for published desktops.

Does not help us at all.

Could you please give us more details how sessions get locked up and what really happens on the client.
