I installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 as a guest OS. When I issue the setleds -v command in a terminal, I get "Error reading current flags setting. Maybe you are not on the console?" I want to turn on NumLock by default but I can't seem to get the state of the leds/keys. Why is that?

    SetLEDS command stubbed, not emulated

It would appear that the setleds command is only a stub, included to keep your scripts from bombing out, but otherwise not doing a single thing. Of course, I could be wrong, but Tech support doesn't appear to cruise through here except to keep us from dissing their product, so who's to say?
