I'm a web developer so I use parallels VM for browser testing. I have different instances of XP for each version of IE since there doesn't seem to be a very stable way to put them all in the same install. The problem is I use my local apache server for development and the IP address changes so my host files in each VM have to be updated all the time. i can't get a fixed IP. is there a way to have all three VMs resolve to a single hosts file or to some other source? It's pretty annoying to have to change that every time
