Shared Disk for simulating clustering

Hello all,

I am looking at how I can simulate a clustered environment in Linux. I am using Parallels Desktop for Mac and I am able to have two Linux virtual machines running in parallel. What I need is a shared disk in both (and this cannot be an NFS mount) so I can run clustered applications for simulation purposes.

Basically I want to install Oracle RAC (clustered database) and I need to be able to have it run in a true multi-node environment.

Anyone done this?

anyone found a solution yet?

i've been trying this today too, obviously there is no way to share a disk between my 3 linux VMs on a 'lower' level.

Anything we can do? any other product able to?
 
I was hoping to do the same thing to set up a windows server cluster -- it seems theoretically possible -- any chance parallels might add this feature?
