My Shared Network has stopped working in XP-SP2 upgrading from 3120 > 3150. The guest is reporting Limited or no connectivity. A quick test of bridged networking (to en1: airport) works.

Any ideas? I will try to re-install the Tools again.

Re-install of Tools and uninstall-reinstall did not work. I will try to reboot the host now, for a second time.

Shared is working for me. I did an upgrade from 3120 and shared was working in that release too.

Check your two parallels network adapters and make sure they are both green in network configuration under Mac OS.

If you search around there was a script you could run from the terminal that created and enabled these two adapters.

Thanks - the second host reboot fixed the problem. This was my upgrade sequence:

    1. Shutdown XP
    2. Upgrade Parallels 3120 > 3150
    3. Reboot the host
    4. Start Parallels
    5. Start XP
    6. Upgrade Tools immediately, reboot the guest
    7. Shared networking busted...hmm, test bridged, it works.
    8. Re-installed the Tools, reboot the guest. Shared networking still broken
    9. Uninstall/reinstall Tools (unnecessary in hindsight). Shutdown XP.
    10. Reboot the host, again. Start up the XP guest. This fixed the problem
