First, let me say I use Parallels all the time, and love it. I've had very few problems with it to date, but there is one MAJOR annoyance I have whenever there is a new Parallels update that gets installed. Some shareware applications tied to some hardware or software constants when using their activation codes. An example is V-Planner (a decompression diving program). Somehow whenever I upgrade Parallels, I lose my serial number for V-planner, which is somehow tied to the Parallels environment. I'm not certain what constant the V-planner software is looking for, but why does this always occur between builds? The major problem is that I only get so many activation keys for this shareware app, and now I've reached my limit. Is there a way to stop this from happening?
