sharing internet from a parallels winxp vm

Hey,

I have a 3g datacard that, surprise surprise, only works in windows. I have it working in my VM, but want to share that connection to my mac.

anyone know how to make that work?

Feel free to link me to a howto or a search, however i've tried with all kinds of keywords and come up short.

I don't see why a 3g data card should not work in the Mac

I had a lot of trouble with my TalkTalk dsl connection
until I found i had two logins

one for the router

and another for the WAN
the telephone help line was not much use

the fix was to delete all network preferences and let the Mac OS find the ethernet connection

Mine is tmobile, and i have to use a usb adapter to get it to work; the macbookpro doesn't have a full pcmcia slot.

so given the lack of usb drivers for the device on the mac, the card isn't recognized

so i have to boot parallels and share the connection via it..... which is trickier than it seems :/

I have the same problem, I have a Samsung Blackjack and it doesn't support Internet Sharing with the Mac (Internet Sharing permits connection to internet while charging battery) and only works with Windows. I have been able to connect using parallels but can't seem to find a way to share that connection with my Mac.

I am able to connect with the Blackjack to the internet with my Mac, but it doesn't charge the battery in the process, this only works in Windows and it is why I would like to know if this is possible.
