Sharing iPod or other drives

I'd like to use my iPod to bring files home from work - to my Parallels partition. But I play iTunes on my Mac.

Should I disable iTunes on my VM? Are there any other issues that I should pay attention to?

Well, if you are performing an auto-sync to your OS X for media files, I would just make sure that you don't sync your iPod to your Windows side.

I don't know how to make sure I don't do that - other than the temporary work around I did by uninstalling iTunes on my VM.

You would specifically have to tell it to do that or set it up to do that.
