Folks, I have avoided sharing with my "Mac side'' mainly because so many folks here say it is nearly unuseably slow. But, I have found that to not be the case, at least on my set up. I enabled sharing a couple of weeks back, using Parallels' method, set it up and saw that it worked. Didn't touch it much. Tonight, I needed to edit some photos that are on the "Mac side". I didn't want to use my old Photoshop Elements 2.0 since it isn't MacTel. But, I do have Elements for Windows. Gaining access via Parallels' sharing, I was able to not only quickly get to the photos, but preview them just as fast as if they were on the "Windows" side. I edited them, saved them, and nothing, not one thing was slow about the process. Maybe it is this post-beta release, but sharing was very fast for this session.
