Sharing network bandwidth limitation

Hi all, is it possible to limit the bandwidth of internet sharing network so that the virtual system (win8.1) won't cost so much bandwidth, which I want to save for the MAC itself. Thank you so much!
 
You might be able to do this in the router. If you set up networking as bridged, then the guest OS will have its own IP address. Then on your router, you might have have a bandwidth control feature, where you can limit the bandwidth to an IP address.
