Shift Select or Ctr Select or de-select not working when external Mouse is on

Hello,
when I go to devices-usb and mount an external mouse to use in widows, shift select items or ctr select items stops working.
All select or de-select options in windows explorer or any other software stops working, when I unmount the external mouse it all works.
I'm using a 3Dconnexion cad mouse.
any ideas?

Hello FranciscoA5. Please install the necessary drivers for the mouse in the Windows virtual machine and check if it helps.

I have everything installed and updated with the latest updates available.
Problem is still there, once I connect ANY mouse using devices, USB, mouse, enable, Shift/control select-deselect stops working.
I just checked and any USB mouse does this problem.

Hello FranciscoA5, Let us ensure that Parallels Tools are properly installed. Please follow this link to install Parallels Tools. If you see reinstall or update Parallels Tools then kindly reinstall it and check if it helps.
