I'm getting ready to buy a new iMac. I'm wondering if I should pay for an upgraded GPU with 16GB of RAM. The main program I use is Visual Studio 2019 and my employer's app I develop with it. Our app is basically a CAD program that uses SharpDX/DirectX for its graphics. If I assign 8GB GPU RAM to my VM will Parallels use the GPU for accelerating DirectX? My current iMac is a Late 2015 with an AMD Radeon R9 M390 with 2GB of RAM. Graphics memory is set to Auto so Windows is using system memory for graphics.
