should I uninstall AVG, after installing Kaspersky?

build 3186 of parallels desktop for mac has an option in the actions menu to install kaspersky internet security. I did so and my machine rebooted. I don't see any processes running for kaspersky. is it safe for me to remove AVG now?

You should never install two anti-viruses at the same time. Did kaspersky not tell you to remove AVG before it installed itself? I'd remove both then just reinstall one of them. Kaspersky in Parallels is a time limited trial BTW, you will need to either cough up money in 6 months or reinstall AVG again later. AOL offer a fully free Kaspersky AFAICS:
