Should Transporter 3 work with Desktop 2?

Hi,
I'm using Parellels 2 and was wanting to try the transporter stuff out.
I've installed the agent (v3) on a Win2000 machine and made a "migrant". When I try to load it in Parellels desktop it tells me "Transporter 2" wasn't found.
Do I need agent v2 to make this work?
Where can I find it on the web? only v3 is available
