It's my preference to shut down after using the virtual machine with Windows 10. When I selected "shut down" from the Actions menu using Parallels 16, it would do so. When I select the same command under Parallels 17, one of two things happens. Either nothing happens, which is the most common. Or after selecting the command repeatedly, I get a popup asking if I want to stop the machine and suggesting I "shut down" instead to avoid losing unsaved changes or causing corruption. Obviously, this is problematic, because I WAS indicating that I wanted to shut down, not stop the virtual machine. On the same popup, "Stop" is the default command, but "Shut Down" is also an option. When I select it, nothing happens. So, there is no way to shut down the virtual machine right now. How to fix this?

Hello, did you try to shut down your VM via the start button on the Windows side?
