I upgraded my macOS Sonoma VM to Sequoia 15.0 (release version), and still experience the issue: "Verification Failed. An Unknown error occurred" when trying to sign in to Apple Account in System Settings. I can sign into iCloud on the Safari browser though. On a separate note, Parallels is preventing me from creating a new VM with the Sequoia installer. I am using Parallels Desktop 20.0.1 (55659) on MacBook M1 Max with 64GB.

Hello all -- it's clear that one needs to be running MacOS15 on metal and build a brand new MacOS15 virtual machine for iCloud signin to work. However, the documentation is vague as to whether the physical device needs to run on Apple Silicon. I have a Macbook Pro 2020 (Intel) with a T2 chip. I never had any issue with virtual machines and iCloud before. While my MacOS14 virtual machine still allows for Apple ID sign in, I cannot get Apple ID sign in to work on a virtual MacOS machine. A brief review of the Apple documentation does not clarify the requirement -- it mentions Apple Silicon in the first sentence, but doesn't specify whether Intel processors are no longer supported. Does anyone know?
