Sirius S50 Radio via USB

Hi guys - trying to get USB port device (sirius satellite radio) on my Mac Pro to work in Parallels. In either auto or manual detect, I get an error stating that the usb device is currently being used by another application and wait 5-10 seconds before trying to reconnect. I am not using the usb device in native mac. What gives? HOW do I get this usb device to work in parallels?

have it auto detect when you plug anything into your usb port or try VMware fusion it has better usb support.

Also, you can try re-installing Parallels tools.

We need more info to really help though, Parallels Build #, OS X Vers., etc.

Me Too ! -- Issues connecting a Sirius S50 to Parallels/XP

I am unable to get my Sirius S50 to connect to my Parallels Windows XP VM.

I launch "My Sirius Radio" app. When I plug the unit into the USB connector and capture the port, the program makes an attempt to connect to the S50.

Then I get a message window (titled: "My Sirius Studio.exe - No Disk") that says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in to drive \Device\Harddisk\DR4." None of the choices (Cancel, Try Again, or Continue) leads to a succesful connection.

BTW, requesting "Continue" leads to a subsequent message window (titled" Create Sirius S50 Image?") that says "Could not verify WMDM device as a Sirius S50. Would you like to create the Sirius S50 image on this device?" Again, either response (Yes, No) does not create a succesful connection.

The S50 and software work like a charm on my wife's Dell running XP.
