I am brand new to a MacBook Pro. I have installed Parallels in order to keep up with Quickbooks on a Windows machine, to use Word files, and to use Pixella and Firefox occasionally. What is the smallest Windows footprint I can buy to get this done?
 
If by that question, you mean how big do you need to make your virtual disk, I'd suggest about 15 gig expanding. This will not use any more space on your hard disk than is required for the actual files you put on it, but will allow room for expansion if you decide to add something else later. One VM I use has a 15 gig expanding disk with lots of software installed and takes about 4 gig of actual hard disk space at the moment.

BTW, this discussion probably belongs in the Mac technical forum since it's OS specific.
