Smartmouse doesn't work

Since installing a new Windows 7 Ultimate x64 VM, I've had an issue with Smartmouse not working, either with its setting On or on Auto. I start the Windows 7 VM and once it boots up, I can see two arrows until I click into the VM window. To get back to an OSX app, I have to use CTRL-ALT(OPTION).

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Dear Garth,

It seems to be that Parallels Tools were not updated correctly.

Can you please try to reinstall Parallels Tools
- Start -> Control Panel-> Program and Features -> and uninstall Parallels tools
- restart Virtual Machine
- Virtual Machine -> install Parallels Tools
