SmartSelect opens Safari

Smartselect is functioning correctly in that when I click on a link in outlook in parallels the link is passed into OSX to be opened, but Parallels is opening safari and not firefox, which is set to be my browser in OSX. Specifically I am using BonEcho, the community created builds of Firefox.

Is there any way to command what program gets the links from windows?
 
I'm experiencing the same problem

I even went so far as to make 'Safari' an alias to firefox - no go, it still launched my renamed version (Safari.real).
