snapshot/smarguard: no way to force it only if VM off or on quit?

Hello,

I find it very annonying than the snapshot smartguard feature can start creating a snapshot in the middle of your work. AFAIC, it is more an hassle as it means saving live VM which weights more and could have coherence problems.
It's a pity there is no option for smartguard to do it only when VM is off/Parallels starting or quitting.

Or is there a way to do that?
