I have downloaded and installed a file conversion program called, ByteScout SWF to Video Scout, a program that converts .swf to .wmv files. All goes well except the sound is not recorded. The ByteScout seems to be configured correctly. I checked the troubleshooting information and it says that the system sound configuration is probably wrong. Any directions about how the Mac side and the Windows side should be configured? I would contact the vendor but in my experience these companies do not know anything about virtual operating systems.
Please check Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide from http://www.parallels.com/en/download/file/doc/Parallels_Desktop_for_Mac_User_Guide.pdf pages 187. 131
Thanks for your reply. I tried different settings in these locations but none of them worked. Just to be clear, I am getting audio when playing files on my Mac or within virtualized Windows. The problem is recording audio within the Windows environment. I would imagine the settings should be set to "line in?"
I suppose it is better to create ticket in support and provide all information about software in order to test it http://www.parallels.com/en/support/desktop/
