Is anyone having problems with this 3rd party app. I have been using their products for quite some time and the version before 4.0 worked fine on VM but this new version hangs when I try to sync it's db using BB Desktop software for Windows with my BB. The version before (3.94) sync'd just fine.

When I asked the developer of course he bailed on "we don't support the Windows version running on a MAC using VM software". When I told him all the previous versions worked he said there still maybe something about the being on a VM they didn't program for. Seems like a crock to me but I don't know here to go except backwards to the older version.

Any ideas, suggestions or experiences welcome.
 
I know it's some months since you posted, but I'm also having problems with SplashID 4.0 using Vista Ultimate thru Parallels. I used SplashID for years with no problem when I had a Dell PC, but now it constantly fails. I can set it up ok, and get the PDA and the desktop to sync, but the next time I try to run SplashID Desktop I get the message 'No User Found'. If I reinstall, it all works fine again while the PDA is connected, but after disconnecting and then re-launching the programme, we're back to 'No User Found'.

Anybody got any suggestions?
 
Nope no answers, Splash ID told me they didn't support VM installations and couldn't help trouble shoot it. They suggested I return to the prior version if it worked. And that's where I am.
